In conjunction with a unit on the government, I created an internet activity for my students.  I searched for appropriate web pages for my students and found the White House for Kids site.  It had a lot of interesting facts.  In order to give my students some much needed practice in browsing a web page, I created five questions that the students could find the answers to on the White House site.  I tried to ask students questions that are common knowledge to the population, but not children.

  1. What are the names of the President's pets?
  2. What is the address of the white House?
  3. What are the names of the President and First Lady?
  4. What is the name of the President's daughter?
  5. Tell a fact about the White House.
