During the third quarter of student teaching in our kindergarten class, Mrs. Your has continued to grow in her professional vocation. She was responsible for teaching "full time" for two weeks. During that time, she was completely responsible for the classroom. She arrived early in order to make sure that everything was prepared, she developed comprehensive lessons and executed them with confidence. She has learned to juggle the many details of teaching 49 students.
Mrs. Your has continued to teach the entire morning class lessons. She has written every lesson plan for thc remainder of thc year. She continues to reflect on the happenings of each day.
She has internalized many components of the "Responsive Classroom" which is evident in her classroom management as well as her rapport with each student and parent.
Mrs. Your has involved herself in every aspect of teaching. She has helped compile thc ordering for next year's class. She attends meetings to review our kindergarten screening practices and is interested in the process of bringing closure to the end of the year for our students.
