These are journal entries from the Third Graders at Cure of Ars.
 "I
think it was cool when my teacher let us make a post office. I liked how she made a
test for us to do before we tried out for our jobs. My first job I tried out for was
the Post Master. My second job I
tried out for Sorter and I am still the sorter but we only have it open on Wednesday and
Friday. We have three Post Masters
at a time. I work on the first shift. We even have a mailbox and the Mail Carrier has a hat and a real bag.
We have fake stamps but it is really cool!! On Valentines Day, we put
people's addresses on an envelope and put it in the fake mailbox." |
 "I
liked the one-hundredth day of school
and the reason was because we got a play a lot of fun games. I liked the bean bag
toss too and that was pretty fun too!!" |
 "Whenever
we celebrate Halloween at school, we have lots of fun. We have candy and we trick
or treat but I'm not happy when I will be in the Fourth Grade because we don't get to do
the fun in-school stuff but Third Grade is the BEST!!" |
 "I
remember when we made Valentine cards and mailed them it was very fun!! About a
month later, I became the Post Master,
also! And now, I am still the Post
Master and I have learned every job."
